Jim received a BA degree from Pepperdine (Malibu), a Masters from Fuller Seminary (Pasadena), and a Coaching Certification from the Life Purpose Institute (San Diego). He is a member of the International Coaching Federation and is constantly seeking to enhance his knowledge and skills as a coach. Jim’s six-year history in coaching is founded on his 28 years in pastoral work— counseling, teaching, and training in several denominations, predominately in Presbyterian and Vineyard churches. In addition, he has taught college at Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine Universities, and spent six years in the nonprofit sector as Executive Director of the Door of Hope homeless shelter in Pasadena, CA.
Jim is married to the Radiant Renee and they make their home in Eagle Rock, CA, staying in touch with their coastal roots by playing beach volleyball on the weekends.
